Before installing smart lockers, it helps to evaluate a few aspects of the property. This checklist will help you prepare the conversation with your board and our team.
Package volume
Estimate how many packages the community receives on a typical day and during peak seasons such as November and December. This determines the number of compartments.
Location
- A covered area protected from sun and rain
- Easy access for carriers and residents
- Good lighting and, ideally, security cameras
Power and internet
The locker needs a nearby power outlet and a stable internet connection to send notifications and record activity.
Community rules
Define how long a package can stay in the locker and how packages that do not fit will be handled.
Payment model
easyDrop offers two models, both with no upfront investment: a fixed monthly fee, where the property pays a set amount that includes equipment, installation, maintenance and support; or pay per use, where each user pays only when they use the locker. Consider which one best fits your property or business.
